Case of 1000 of Jiffy 7 pellets are compressed discs made of sphagnum peat. When soaked in water they expand inside a degradable net with a small indent on the top of the disc shaped jiffy to place seed or cutting into. Very popular for soil growers as the media is premixed with added lime and a special fertilizer with low ammonium content to stimulate plant growth.
